LPU organized Four-Week long Personal Contact Programme for its Distance Education Students

Lovely Professional University (LPU) conducted a four-week-long Personal Contact Program (PCP) for its distance education students. Nearly 300 faculty members conducted classes for 800 courses. The classes were delivered based on instructional plans covering all the important topics of the syllabus for various courses. 

Thousands of distance education students from different locations attended the PCP classes.  All of them got academic counselling from subject-specific experts of the university, where students' queries were discussed and resolved.

Based on the registration of the students, the university conducted PCP classes in 15+ disciplines of Management, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Commerce, Library and Information Sciences, Economics, Education, English, Hindi, Punjabi, History, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology. 

Many government employees and other working professional students also took time out of their engagements to attend these classes. One of the participating MCA Students, Nazdeep Kaur shares, “Here, practical sessions proved beneficial for applying in theoretical knowledge gained so far. 

The PCP classes indeed provided the strategy to study and score good marks.” Bachelor of Arts student, Jayata holds, “LPU professors provided clear explanations and relevant examples which helped us in understanding the concepts in a better way”. 

LPU's Director of the Centre for Distance and Online Education informs that presently the admission for LPU Distance Education Programmes for the January 2024 Session is going on. For more information, one can contact the university by calling at 0182-521360.
