Commissioner Secretary Cooperatives, ARI & Trainings Departments and Mission Director of the Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP), Yasha Mudgal, today convened a meeting with district heads of Agriculture and allied departments, to review progress on Holistic Agriculture Development Programme in the district.

She had a detailed assessment of physical and financial status of all 26 projects under implementation by Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture, Animal Husbandry, and Sheep Husbandry. She reviewed and evaluated implementation of the programme for Holistic development of Agriculture sector in the district.

Commissioner Secretary stressed on the stakeholder departments to motivate the farmers for taking benefit of HADP for their overall progress and prosperity. She affirmed that HADP is aimed to tap the huge potential of agriculture in transforming the rural economy and bring sustainable livelihood and development of the farmers.

She asked the officers of allied departments for ensuring saturation of schemes under their purview for benefit of the farming community. Yasha Mudgal specifically asked for completion of all the approved projects within the stipulated time frame, ensuring the programme is implemented in the district as per the  guideline for the farmer's welfare.

Commissioner Secretary asked the officers to be available for the farming community throughout the year and handhold and redress their issues for sustainable development in the agriculture sector, especially in rural areas. She reiterated synchronized efforts of all the stakeholders for holistic development of the agriculture sector in the district.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Doda, Pran Singh, ADC, Dr Ravi Kumar Bharti, CPO, Suresh Kumar, SE PWD, CAO, CHO, CAHO, DSHO, Deputy Director Sericulture, AD Fisheries, AD Floriculture and other concerned officers and officials.
