NCC cadets of Chandigarh Group of College Jhanjeri along with the college staff & officials of 23rd Pb. Bn. NCC, Ropar conducted an awareness drive  on pollution control. NCC Cadets conducted a rally in and around the campus carrying placards bearing Anti-Noise and Anti-Pollution slogans. 

The main aim of the rally was to aware residents about the harmful effects of the pollution and ways to control it. These students also created awareness among people about Noise Pollution by applying stickers of “No Horn” on the vehicles passing by the campus. 

The vehicle owners were informed about the effects of noise pollution and as such not to honk unnecessarily around sensitive places like Hospitals, Schools, Colleges etc.saplings were also planted at the moment for making environment pollution free. 

The students also pledge to put in the best of their efforts in this direction. MD CGC Jhanjeri Arsh Dhaliwal said that  It is high time to motivate residents to work for the environment to make earth a better place to live in .
