CGC Jhanjeri campus organized the International Diplomat Conclave 2024 under the auspices of the Department of International Affairs. This prestigious event brought together esteemed delegates from over 8 countries, including Ghana, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Chad, Chile, and Indonesia, and discussed the theme of "Internationalization of Higher Education."

The event commenced with speeches made by Harisoa Lalatiana Accouche, High Commissioner of Seychelles High Commission; Lebohang Valentine Mochaba, High Commissioner of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Lesotho; Haymandoyal Dillum, High Commissioner of the Embassy of Mauritius; and Dillah Lucienne, Ambassador of the Republic of Chad, their presence underscored the importance of international cooperation in advancing higher education on a global scale.

The conclave served as a platform for engaging in discussions on various challenges faced by international students, with a particular focus on language barriers. Delegates exchanged insights and proposed solutions, with CGC Jhanjeri pledging to introduce Hindi language courses to facilitate the smooth education of students from diverse linguistic backgrounds. 

Additionally, the scope and bright future of international students was highlighted, emphasizing the institution's commitment to providing them with ample opportunities for growth and success. Later, diplomats were entertained with colorful cultural events including classical dance, contemporary dance, bhangra, and fashion shows showcasing traditional attire. 

There were also captivating performances of traditional dances from South Sudan, Lesotho, Zimbabwe etc. Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director of CGC Jhanjeri, expressed his delight that diplomats of various countries discussed requirements for world-class education, global competencies, and international benchmarking of education for students.

Speaking on the occasion, Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC said that the progress of India only depends on strengthening the education system and stress should be given to building stronger education systems.
