Launched by renowned Punjabi actress Mohani Toor at the studio, the album's unveiling witnessed the presence of prominent personalities. The song, now available on YouTube, is gaining widespread popularity.
Expressing her thoughts, Komal, who is pursuing her graduation at Punjab University, Chandigarh, mentioned that "Desire" is her second release, following the success of her Himachali folk song, "Amma Puchadi." Komal, having previously visited Canada, chose to return to India to contribute to Punjabi music rather than pursuing opportunities abroad.
The song's lyrics are penned by Sukh Jawahrewala, accompanied by music composed by Prabhdeep Singh Stranger. The video, shot in Chandigarh, Punjab, and Himachal, is directed by the well-known director and actor Anuj Puri. The modeling for the song features HD (Hardeep Singh) and Komal.
