The Chairperson, District Development Council (DDC) Kulgam, Mohammad Afzal Parray, today presided over the Annual Day celebrations held at Middle School Katrasoo, Kulgam as chief guest. On the occasion, the Chairperson DDC stressed upon school authorities that quality education must be prioritised, teachers must give their best to facilitate the children so as to ensure result oriented outcomes.

He also emphasised upon school children to take part in sports activities and other extracurricular activities, along with regular studies in order to nourish their potential for their overall upliftment. He appreciated the department for taking sincere efforts towards the deliverance of quality education and thanked the school administration for inviting him on their big day.

On the occasion, students participated in various activities including debate, speech and cultural events and showcased talent. Chief Education Officer, Mushtaq Ahmad Qadri, other staff and students were also present.
