District Information Officer, Udhampur, Rajinder Kumar Digra - the Prabhari Officer for Panchayat Pathi in Block Udhampur under Back to Village phase5, conducted a thorough review of the ongoing initiatives under various self-employment and individual-oriented schemes during his visit today. Upon arrival, the PRI members and the local community extended a warm welcome to the visiting officer, actively engaging in the B2V5 programme.

 Throughout the visit, he interacted with PRI members,  general public and officers from different departments and addressed the concerns raised by the Gram Sabha. The day witnessed diverse activities, including plantation drives and inspections of departmental stalls. The Visiting Officer emphasized on the promotion of  self-employment schemes of different line departments, focusing on raising awareness through sample projects to encourage entrepreneurial initiatives among the youth of the  Panchayat.

Additionally, the Visiting Officer inspected key assets such as Compost pits, Patwar Khana, PMAY-G houses, Schools, and Anganwadi centers, ensuring a comprehensive overview of the region's developmental landscape. The Prabhari officer was accompanied by Sarpanch Pathi Mangat Ram Bhagat, PRI members, VLW Prabhu Dayal, Patwari Mohd Shabir along with other senior citizens & staff.
