In a celebration of tradition and community spirit, the Sub Divisional Administration Paddar orchestrated a magnificent display of Dangal/Traditional Wrestling during the annual fair known as Zagru at Gulab Garh.Under the astute direction and guidance of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr Devansh Yadav IAS, and the close supervision of SDM Arun Kumar Badyal, the Dangal/Traditional Wrestling event unfolded as a vibrant and integral part of the local fair organized by the residents of Gulabgarh Paddar.

The Dangal witnessed enthusiastic participation from accomplished Pehlawans hailing from various parts of the Union Territory, notably from Pathan koot,Samba and  Kathua, contributing to the cultural richness of the event and entertaining the gathered audience.An impressive turnout of approximately 6000 people from both the local and adjoining areas added to the festive atmosphere of the Mela besides foreign Tourists from Netherland and Switzerland also joined the Festivities and  enjoyed the Thrill of Dangal Traditional Wrestling.

The event served as a testament to the enduring spirit of community engagement and cultural celebration that defines Zagru at Gulab Garh.The SDM Paddar expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the people, highlighting the pivotal role played by DDC member Paddar, Hari Krishan Chauhan, and other stakeholders in ensuring the resounding success of this remarkable event.The Dangal Traditional Wrestling not only showcased the physical prowess of the participating athletes but also became a platform for fostering unity and camaraderie within the community. It served as a reminder of the rich cultural heritage embedded in the traditional fairs and events that bring people together to celebrate shared values and traditions.

The event was meticulously organized, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all attendees. The Sub Divisional Administration Paddar, led by SDM Arun Kumar Badyal, demonstrated a commitment to upholding cultural traditions while providing a platform for athletes to showcase their skills and entertain the community.As a nod to the success of this year's Traditional Wrestling event, the organizers expressed gratitude to the Deputy Commissioner, Dr Devansh Yadav for his unwavering support and guidance.
