The CHC Katra organised live streaming of the virtual launch of the "Ayushman Bhava" campaign by the President of India and the LG of J&K UT. This campaign, overseen by Dr. Gopal Dutt, the BMO of Katra, is a nationwide healthcare initiative by the Government of India (GOI).
It aims to ensure comprehensive healthcare coverage, reaching every village and town through three key components: Ayushman Apke Dwar 3.0 (for 100% enrollment in Ayushman Bharat), Ayushman Melas at HWC & CHC levels, and Ayushman Sabha in every village and Panchayat.
The goal is to achieve universal health coverage and provide healthcare for all. The event was attended by Tara Chand, a Councillor, along with representatives from the ICDS and education departments.
Additionally, all the CHOs of HWC and officials/officers from Health Block Katra were present. The campaign's on-ground activities will be implemented during Sewa Pakhwada from September 17, 2023, to October 2, 2023.
