In the run up to Municipal/ Urban Local Bodies (ULB) Election 2023, a training programme for Zonal Magistrates and Sector Magistrates was today organised here in District Election Office Doda. The programme was chaired by Deputy District Election Officer, Sanjeev Kumar under the directions of District Election Officer, Vishesh Mahajan (DC Doda).
The training programme was attended by SLMT/ Nodal Officer for SVEEP Mohammad Ashraf Wani (DIO DIPR Doda), NT Elections, Master Trainers, Trainer Dr Akhter Hussain (Assistant Professor GDC Doda), Zonal and Sector Magistrates, besides other concerned functionaries.
During the training session, Zonal and Sector Magistrates were imparted training about their role and responsibilities, before, during and after the polling day. They were acquainted with necessary information and latest directions of CEO J&K, to ensure free and fair Municipal Elections.
Dy. DEO Doda emphasized the Zonal and Sector Magistrates for adopting a coordinated approach for hassle free elections in the district.
