Teachers' Day 2023 was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour in the Community Hall Doda, today.The event was organized on the theme "Shiksha ki Badalti Tasveer" (The Changing Face of Education) and also coincided with the ongoing Bhrashtachar Mukt campaign. 

The Chief Education Officer Doda took the lead in planning and executing the event, ensuring a memorable and meaningful celebration.The theme aimed to highlight the transformation and advancements in the field of education, emphasizing the need for continuous adaptation to meet the evolving needs of students.

The event began with a warm welcome extended to all the teachers who had gathered to commemorate this special day. The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda Abdul Qayoom, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Doda Pran Singh, ADC Doda Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti, CEO Doda Parshotam, ZEOs, Principals, and students from various institutions participated in the programme at the Community Hall.

The SSP, in his speech, expressed gratitude towards the teachers for their tireless efforts in shaping the future of the nation. He acknowledged that teachers play a crucial role in imparting knowledge, values and skills to students. 

He emphasized the need for teachers to be role models and mentors for their students, guiding them towards a brighter future. He urged everyone present to take the Bhrashtachar Mukt pledge seriously and actively contribute towards creating a corruption-free society.  

The ADDC Doda also addressed the gathering, commending the efforts of teachers in providing quality education to students. He emphasized the need for continuous improvement and adaptation in the field of education to keep up with the changing times. 

He encouraged teachers to embrace new teaching methodologies, incorporate technology into classrooms, and promote inclusive education. To entertain and engage the audience, a scintillating cultural program featuring dance, music and skits was presented by students from different schools. Teachers with exceptional contribution towards education were felicitated with awards.
