PNB RSETI Imparts Training for Beauty Parlour Management

Continuing with its ongoing endeavour to equip rural youth with self employment courses' training, Punjab National Bank's Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Vikas Bhawan, Sector 62, SAS Nagar Mohali, held successful training session in Beauty Parlour Management.  

Divulging the details, Chief Manager, District Lead Bank, M K Bhardwaj said that the culmination of this training was marked by a valediction ceremony, with Ms Geetika Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner (R D), SAS Nagar Mohali, serving as the chairperson. She bestowed upon the 35 participants training certificates who had successfully completed the intensive 35-day training program.

Acknowledging the distinctiveness of Punjab National Bank's Rural Self Employment Training Institute Mohali as the sole institute responsible for hosting such valuable training programs, she reassured the institute of the unwavering support of the district administration in ensuring that the necessary facilities and resources are provided for the successful execution of such courses. 

She further commended PNB RSETI's active role in offering free training across more than 60 courses to the rural youth of Mohali district, thereby directly contributing to the objectives of the Punjab Government's Ghar Ghar Rozgar Yojana, which emphasizes skill development for gainful employment.

Notable figures present at the event included PNB Circle Head Mohali Rita Juneja, Chief Lead District Manager MK Bhardwaj and Amandeep Singh, Director of Punjab National Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute, SAS Nagar Mohali. 

It is worthwhile to mention that Punjab National Bank's RSETI has diversified its offerings to encompass several new recognized courses, such as Beekeeping, Jute Product Entrepreneurship, Dairy Farming, Beauty Parlour Management, Tailoring-Embroidery Training, and Vermi Compost techniques. These courses, totaling around 60, are conducted entirely free of cost for the benefit of aspiring rural entrepreneurs.
