Maintaining that Democratic Party of Nationalist (DPN) is now emerging as a strong regional party, the Patron DPN Ghulam Hassan Mir today called upon the executive members and workers to make close lesion with common people of the state to mitigate their grievances.According to a statement issued to KNS, this he said while charring an executive body meeting   convened to   discuss the strategy of the party for upcoming assembly elections in the state. General Secretary, Farooq Jan, spokesman Shehzadi Simon, State Secretary, Nazir Ahmed Dialgami, Youth President Muzaffar Reshi, district presidents Basharat Hussain Najar, Abdul Rashid Sheikh, Mohd Afzal Khan, Nazir Ahmed Lone and president women’s wing Masarat Qaidri were present on the occasion.

DPN Patron said that from the date of inception, the DPN stresses for economic self-reliance of the state and with this agenda, the party are actively working on it to realise this cherished dream. He said that this has made a place in DPN’s manifesto for upcoming Assembly election. He said   that party is working for making the state economically self-reliance so that more job opportunities can be created for the people of the state locally without much dependence on other sources.Senior Vice President, G. M. Bawan called upon the intelligentsia of the state to come forward and strengthened the party by giving inputs on various issues of the state. He said that the main aim of the DPN is to work for evolving a consensus so that all the problems being faced by the state are resolved amicably and to the satisfaction of every sections of the society. The executive body assures party patron that all the members would work tirelessly for strengthening the party at the grass root level to make a viable and alternative option to other political forces.
