JKAAC&L organises Mushaira, cultural programme at Bhadarwah

A Multilingual Mushaira and a cultural programme was organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Sub Office Doda in memory of Sagar Sehrai a prominent legendary poet and artist of Bhadarwah at Govt Degree college Bhadarwah.

Administrative Secretary H&P Talat Parvez was the Chief Guest and Secretary Cultural Academy, Bharat Singh Manhas was the Guest of Honour. As many as twenty renowned poets from erstwhile District participated in the Mushaira which was presided over by Mir-e-Majlis Abdul Jabbar Zair , a well known poet of Bhadarwah. 

About ten singer artists and musicians participated in the Cultural programme which was held after the Mushaira ended. Renowned singer of Doda District sang Ghazals of Sagar Sehrai.Earlier, a cultural programme was organised by JKACL on the eve of Celebration of 2nd Lavender Festival, the other day in Jammu University campus Bhaderwah.

 Singer artists and musicians from Jammu and from across erstwhile district Doda mesmerized hundreds of audience.
