Thousands of devotees throng Sudhmahadev mela Day 2

Thousands of devotees and visitors  thronged to Sudh Mahadev temple to seek the blessing of Lord Shiva amidst colourful festivity around the Mela site on Sunday.During the second day of three day folk fair, the devotees first bathe in the Beenisangam which flows out from top of the Dhar Shivgarh and is considered an abode of innumerable saints. 

The devotees took in the holy spring (Pap Nashni bowli) situated just at the entrance of the temple, about which it is said that a holy dip in this spring shuns all evils.District administration has made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Mela like uninterrupted power, safe drinking water, sanitation, medicare, Police Control Room, assistance booth and security have been made at the mela site beside various departments like Agriculture, Horticulture, Health, Handloom, Fisheries have put up their departmental stalls.

A number of temporary sweet shops, toy shops and other eatable corners by the locals as well as outside vendors were the main attraction for the general public visiting the Festival site. Outnumbered children were seen enjoying the joy rides. Langers were also organised voluntarily by various organisations at the mela site.
