Government Degree College Neeli Nallah, Udhampur today released its Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Bulletin, unveiled by Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa in the presence of Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh and Principal of the college Prof Dr Seema Arora, at the DC Office Complex, Udhampur.
The Principal was accompanied by NCORD Convenor Prof Rekha Sharma and NSS Programme Officer Prof Shaista Yasmeen, who have been contributing to implementation of the Abhiyan and other outreach initiatives of the college.
The bulletin highlights awareness programmes, seminars, rallies, competitions, community outreach campaigns and student engagement activities undertaken by the college under the Abhiyan, reflecting the college's commitment to spreading awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa congratulated the Principal and faculty for their efforts in advancing the campaign's objectives, and encouraged the college to continue its outreach initiatives to inspire youth towards healthy, productive and drug-free lives. Prof Dr Seema Arora thanked the Deputy Commissioner for his support to the college's anti-drug awareness initiatives.
