Following its debut last week, the 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse trailer has grabbed a lot of attention. And due to that fans are eager to return to the Spider-Man universe after the huge success of 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' in 2021. This moment is particularly significant for India since it marks the big-screen debut of Pavitr Prabhakar, our very own Indian Spider-Man.
And adding more spice and fun to the character, Indian cricketer Shubman Gill will be lending his voice in the Hindi and Punjabi version of the film. After winning the hearts of all sports lovers, Gill is now all set to win the hearts with his voice in one of Hollywood’s biggest franchises.

Here’s how he announced his big project to his fans. It demonstrates people in a recording studio telling an unidentified person to stop climbing the walls and get to work. Gill is then shown in a superhero landing posture as he says the character's famous lines before the camera goes away.

When asked about his feelings and how much Gill is excited about this new role. He shared, "I have grown up watching Spider-Man, and he is one of the most relatable superheroes. Since the movie will be debuting the Indian Spider-Man for the first time on screen, getting to be the voice of our Indian Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar, in the Hindi and Punjabi languages was such a remarkable experience for me. Already, I feel superhuman. I am eagerly anticipating the release of this movie."
It’s a dream come true for the cricketer Shubman Gill. Meanwhile, speaking of the upcoming series 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse', will hit big screens in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi and Bengali on June 2, 2023.
