"For good governance and to save farmers, youth and industry of Punjab, vote for the Aam Aadmi Party," urged Malwinder Singh Kang to the people of Jalandhar ahead of by-election here. Kang, while cornering the Bharatiya Janata party and Congress for patronizing corrupt and criminals, said that the Mann government is providing corruption free and transparent governance.
Addressing a press conference, with District president Gurdaspur and planning board Chairman Jagroop Singh Sekhwan, AAP Punjab chief spokesperson Malwinder Singh Kang said that before 2022, dynast politicians, corrupt and mafia were ruling Punjab.
They all were just looting the capital of Punjab and ruining the farmers and youth of the state. To teach them all a lesson and punishing them for their anti-people policies, the people of Punjab elected change with a huge mandate.
He said that now people are getting better facilities without any discrimination.Kang added that the Mann government gave 29,000 jobs in just one year and that too without any favourism and recommendations.
Sand mafia, mining mafia, transport mafia and corruption has been ended and 10,000 acres of illegally encroached land was freed. All these steps will benefit the common people of Punjab and the money will go to Punjab's treasury now.
To save the agriculture sector and farmers, CM Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government is continuously taking pro-farmers steps. MSP, DSR (Direct seeded rice), initiatives to save air, water and soil of Punjab are proof of Mann government's sincerity towards the cause.
Responding to the remarks of BJP leader Anurag Thakur, Kang said that opposition parties and their leaders don't have any actual issues because all they know is politics of hatred. He added that whenever there was any allegations of corruption against any AAP MLA or minister our government took transparent and strict action against people involved but BJP welcome corrupt and criminals to their fold with open arms.
We even sacked our ministers but BJP didn't even sack Ajay Mishra Teni whose son murdered farmers in broad daylight. Kang reminded the BJP leader that the people of Punjab have not forgotten about farm laws or their tough agitation.
Kang asked Anurag Thakur that on what moral ground he is questioning AAP when BJP gave MLA ticket to the family of Kuldeep Sengar who was convicted rapist and murderer, freed the rapists of Bilkis Bano, made Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh president of sports federation and protected him.
He also mentioned all the corrupt leaders of various states, like Mukul Roy, Himanta Biswa, Shivraj Chauhan, who left Congress and joined BJP to avoid the action of CBI and ED.Kang warned the BJP that the politics of hatred will never succeed in Punjab, Punjabis pray for 'Sarbat da bhala'.
So talk about real issues, why Modi never talks about demonetization, GST and about his capitalist friends. Why BJP's central government is not releasing Punjab's RDF (rural development fund) and GST.
Lambasting Congress, Kang said that have nothing to target the Mann government so they are launching personal attacks. He added that Captain Amarinder Singh and Charanjit Singh Channi took no action against their corrupt leaders and ministers and now we're founding currency note counting machines from their houses.
Pratap Singh Bajwa never raised his voice against the corrupt or in favour of the common people of the state. Kang said that Congress and BJP patronage and protect corrupt, criminals and mafia. AAP takes action against corruption, in one year, the Mann government took action against hundreds of corrupt politicians and officers.
Kang asserted that the AAP candidate Sushil Kumar Rinku will register a big win in this by-poll as people will teach these traditional political parties a lesson.
