While presiding over the meeting of the district level advisory committee of food safety, Additional Deputy Commissioner Harjot Kaur said that the keep in view of healthy and good environment, district administration has chalked out a plane to established clean street food hub at Gaini Zail Singh Nagar.
Addressing the representatives and owners of the restaurants and hotels present in the meeting, she said that they can play an important role in providing nutritious and healthy food to the common people, for which it is necessary that everyone should prepare fresh and clean food and keep the kitchen clean.
On this occasion, the Additional Deputy Commissioner honoured Ropar's hotels/restaurants for keeping their kitchen clean under the guidelines issued by FSSAI. Monitoring of kitchens have been done by the Food Safety Department for the month of March.
Among the hotels/restaurants, those were honoured at committee room of district administration complex namely Creative Food, HMT Resort, Grand Orchard Resort, Hotel Sahil, Kicker Lodge, Haveli, KFC, Burger King and SM Resort.
