SDRF organises Mock Drill on Disaster Management in GCOE

Awareness cum demonstration event on Disaster Management was today conducted by SDRF 2nd Bn. Jammu here in Government College of Education Canal Road. The event was held under the supervision of Atul Sharma, SSP  Commandant SDRF 2nd Bn. Jammu.

Aekta Gupta, Principal Government College of Education along with Prof. Anju Bala (DSW) inaugurated the programme and highlighted the role of Disaster Management and need of these techniques.

Arvinder Kotwal, Dy. SP SDRF 2nd Bn. Jammu, and  .Sunil Sharma, Inspector were the overall incharge of the Mock Drill Exercise/demonstration. They also briefed the students on the occasion.

During the programme, the SDRF personnel gave demonstrations on First Aid, CPR, Medical First Responder, Earthquake, Mountaineering Rescue Techniques (MRTs), Various Rescue operation Techniques of Disaster management were conducted by the SDRF instructors among the students and staff members.   

A successful mock exercise, demonstration on Disaster Management as well as the Rescue Techniques were conducted by the SDRF Team.
