Cabinet Minister S. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal today visited many villages in Ajnala Sub Devision to take stock of the crops being inspected by the Department of Agriculture and Patwaris in order to find out the correct information regarding the damage to the crops due to rain and hailstorm.  

He visited Ramdas, Bauli, Singhoke, Panjgarai, Dharam Pakash and Darya Musa villages. He said that Punjab government wants to give crop compensation to the farmers as soon as possible and that is possible only if both the departments prepare their report regarding crop damage.  

He said that apart from wheat, vegetables, fodder and other crops have also been damaged due to rain and hailstorm in the district, so the officials of both the departments should reach each village and make sure to collect the correct information about the crops and report it before April 10.  

give first He said that according to the policy made by the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Maan, the compensation should be given to the farmers only on the basis of the crop damage, so the officials of the agriculture department will go to each farm and prepare a proper report on the crop damage.  to do, so that the farmers can be given due compensation.

He said that no farmer should be treated unfairly on the issue of report and no official should give a wrong report in the greed of money.  He clarified that if this happens, the concerned employees will not be spared.
