Waris Punjab De leader Amritpal Singh who has been quite active in social activities and supports Khalistan has now been arrested by Punjab Police. While chasing Amritpal, six of his associates were earlier arrested by police during the chase. Moreover, Singh has been arrested in the Nakodar area of Jalandhar.
Amritpal Singh Khalsa has recently been married and always dresses up like Bhindranwale who was killed during Operation Bluestar.

If reports are to be believed then internet services will remain suspended in Punjab till Sunday. After this, Punjab Police took to their official Twitter and requested people to maintain peace and harmony and not to spread panic, fake news or hate speech. "Punjab Police is working to maintain law and order," the Punjab Police tweeted.
