Punjab Chief Secretary Mr. Vijay Kumar Janjua inaugurated the 'Governance Reform Centre' here inside the district administrative complex today. Deputy Commissioner Sangrur Jitendra Jorwal was also present with him on this occasion. 

In this center, the citizens will be able to register their complaints regarding administrative services and also get information about the action being taken upon them. 

After inaugurating this center, Chief Secretary Mr. VK Janjua inspected the centre precisely and appreciated the efforts made by the Sangrur district administration to provide the facilities here.

Speaking on this occasion, Chief Secretary Mr. VK Janjua said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to provide transparent, timely and quality administrative services to the people of the state. 

He said that all the administrative officers have been instructed that as per the vision of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government is the people's government and now it is being ensured that the citizens get the benefit of administrative services without any difficulty. 

He said that the complaints made by the citizens regarding any kind of administrative service were also being resolved on priority basis as per the law. 

On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (g) Anmol Singh Dhaliwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Varjit Walia, SDM Sangrur Navreet Kaur Sekhon, SDM Dirba Rajesh Sharma, SDM Bhawanigarh Vineet Kumar, SDM Lehra Suba Singh and SDM Sunam Jaspreet Singh were also present.
