The biography of Chamkila is an amalgamation of reality and fiction, and centers on his true love, contentious life, and horrific assassination, which is still an open case. Prominent artists like Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra have been showcasing and performing over a dozen songs for the movie, which has also been hailed as a musical spectacle.
