Beautiful Bollywood actress, Parineeti Chopra who impressed people with her performance in her last film Uunchai is now all set to hit the big screens with her upcoming movie 'Chamkila' directed by Imtiaz Ali and co-starring Diljit Dosanjh. On Tuesday, the actress shared a post and penned a special note for the director 'Imtiaz Ali' and the entire team of 'Chamkila' and gave the information about 'Chamkila' shoot wrap.

Parineeti took to her Instagram and dropped pictures which she captioned as, "The best human, the best director Imtiaz sir - Thankyou for making me your Amarjot.. Speaking about the pictures shared, in the first two pictures she can be seen posing with the director Imtiaz Ali and in others she shared some good memories and moments of Punjab captured during the shooting of the film. These pictures created buzz among the audiences and fans started showering love in the comment section and said that they can't wait to watch the film.
Talking about the film, Parineeti will be portraying the role of Amarjot whereas Diljit will be seen as Chamkila in the film. Chamkila is based on the couple, Amar Singh Chamkila and his wife Amarjot Kaur who were assassinated in 8 March 1988 alongwith the members of their musical band. There is still no official date announced for the film release.
On the work front, Diljit Dosanjh is also working on another big film 'The Crew' which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu.
