The Center on Studies in Sri Guru Granth Sahib organized a one-day seminar dedicated to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the four Sahibzadas on the subject of "Soorbeerta te Sidak di Lasani Dastaan: Char Sahibzadian di Shahadat" and released three research books published by the center.

Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Speaker, Punjab Legistrative Assembly was the Chief Guest on this occasion. Prof. (Dr.) Amarjit Singh, Director, Center on Studies in Sri Guru Granth Sahib gave details about the seminar and the research work being done by the Center. 

The opening remarks were delivered by Prof. Sarbjot Singh Behl, Dean Academic Affairs of the University. He welcomed the guests while giving information about the achievements of the university.

The first speaker of the seminar Dr. Prabhjot Kaur (Chandigarh) former Principal Gurmat College Patiala, introduced the context of the heroic martyrdom of the Sahibzadas with the reference from Alla Yar Khan Jogi and Dunna Singh Handuri’s writings. 

The second speaker, Prof. (Dr.) Jasbir Singh Sabar, shared with the audience the historical significance of the martyrdom of Chaar Sahibzadas. S. Sandhwan, remembered the incredible martyrdom of the four Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and urged the Sikh community to follow the teachings given by Guru Sahib and must recite and take insights from Gurbani. 

Afterword, Hon'ble Speaker released three research books published by the Center, ‘Sri Guru Granth Sahib Dian Hath-Likht Biran de Darshan-Vol. II’(Prof. Amar Singh), ‘1947 de Punjab Vatbare de Akhin Dhithhe Vakiyat: Chashamdidan di Zubani’-Vol. 

I(Dr. Sukhpal Singh, Dr. Harjeet Singh, Charnjit Singh),Bhai Gurdas An English Adaptaion of His Vars-Vol. I (Dr. Dharam Singh). Hon'ble Speaker presented a cheque of Rs.500,000 to Prof. Sarbjot Singh Behl, which he announced on the occasion of book release ceremony of ‘Guru Tegh Bahadur ji: Travels and Relics’coffee table book in August 2022.

After this Prof. Sarbjot Singh Behl honored Hon'bleSpeaker, Dr. Jasbir Singh Sabar and Dr. Prabhjot Kaur by giving the badge of honour.
