Vani Jayaram Indian playback singer Vani Jairam, commonly known as Vani Jayaram, performed in South Indian movies. Vani's career began in 1971 and has lasted for more than 50 years. She recorded around 10,000 songs for more than a thousand Indian movies. It is reported on Saturday at 4 pm that she has breathed her last. The reports are saying that this veteran singer has earlier injuries on her forehead through which she was running ill the past few times. So, now is speculated that because of her injury, she died. It can be assumed about her popularity that she has sung songs in more than eleven languages. She was the woman who has sung the song more than 10,000 in her career journey. She was 78 years old. Because she had great vocals she was awarded three times from national awards. After coming to the news, many actors, and known personalities showed their grief.

In her career journey, she has collaborated with many big music composers. Recently she completed her fifty years in her career. Because of her sweet voice, she was also addressed as ‘Aaj Ke Bharat Ki Meera’. She has received three National Film Awards for Best Female Playback Singer, it should be emphasised. Additionally, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Gujarat, and Odisha have all given her state prizes.
