This is a piece of heartbreaking and shocking news for the Bollywood and South industry. As it has been reported that Mahesh Babu’s father, Veteran Telugu actor Krishna passed away on Tuesday while receiving treatment for a heart arrest at a city-based private super-specialty hospital.
Krishna was rushed to the hospital unconscious, but after 20 minutes of CPR, he was brought back to life. The actor was later moved to the intensive care unit of the hospital and given life support. An interdisciplinary team of doctors kept an eye on him. Fans of Krishna and members of the film industry paid tribute to him shortly following the news of his passing.

In his acting career, Krishna, whose true name is Ghattamaneni Sivarama Krishna, appeared in around 350 films. His portrayal of Alluri Sitarama Raju, a renowned independence fighter from coastal Andhra Pradesh, is what made him most well-known. Krishna made his acting debut in the 1965 movie Thene Manasulu and went on to star in a number of additional movies, including Sakshi, Pandanti Kapuram, Goodachari 116, James Bond 777, and Agent Gopi. He last appeared on screen in the 2016 Telugu movie Sri Sri.
Meanwhile, in his lifetime, Krishna married twice. He has five children with Indira, his first wife, including Ramesh Babu, Mahesh Babu, Padmavathi, Manjula, and Priyadarshini. Vijaya Nirmala, an actor and filmmaker, was his second spouse. Indira passed away on September 28 of this year at the age of 70. And Ramesh passed away in January from a kidney-related condition.
