Departments Told To Appoint Nodal Officers To Reply Queries And Proposals Tabled In Vidhan Sabha

Punjab state government has instructed to all departments to appoint nodal officers to respond queries, and proposals tabled in the state legislative assembly.While disclosing this, a spokesperson of Punjab government said that state government had directed all departments to appoint nodal officers and they have been directed to furnish the details of the nodal officers including their designation, address and phone numbers in Room No. 118, 2nd Floor at Inquiry Office, legislature cell, CM Office, Civil Secretariat, Punjab. This information had to be sought before July 4, he added.He further said that the submitted information would help in maintaining better coordination to get the legislative work done in easy and effective manner.

The spokesperson said that the duly approved ten copies of the call attention motion and other proposals relating legislative work pertaining to the department of Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and other cabinet ministers must be submitted in both Punjabi (Asees font) and English, 10 days to prior to the scheduled date. These copies must be submitted in the form of hard as well as soft copies or can be e-mailed at [email protected].
