District Development Council Chairman Doda, Dhanantar Singh Kotwal, today laid the foundation stone of flood protection work along Guptganga temple. DDC Vice Chairperson, Sangeeta Bhagat; DDC West, Yudhvir Singh; BDC Chairman, Omi Chand; Superintending Engineer, Anil Gupta; Executive Engineer Jal Shakti and Executive Engineer flood control, besides religious leaders headed by the local Mahant were also present.
The work will be executed by Irrigation and Flood Control department with an estimated cost of Rs 0.52 cr. The DDC chairman directed the executing authorities to complete the work within the stipulated time period without compromising the quality of work.
