Doda Police organise cultural program to mark end of Martyrs Week

A cultural programme was organized by Doda Police to mark the end of the Police Martyrs week.The event was organized at Community Hall Doda under the guidance of SSP, Abdul Qayoom. Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Paul Mahajan was the chief guest. Chairman MC Doda, Ved Parkash Gupta, CEO  Prahlad Bhagat, the Principals of different educational Institutions, besides around 400 school children drawn from different schools also participated/witnessed the function. 

A colourful programme was presented by the students. The aim of organizing this event was to inculcate the spirit of patriotism, nationalism and oneness among the young generation besides remembering the bravery and sacrifice of Martyrs who made their supreme sacrifices for the integrity and sovereignty of the country. 

It is pertinent  to mention here that Doda Police have organized a number of events across the length and breadth of the district to observe Martyrs week which includes debate competitions, painting competitions, Police  band show, movie shows, marathons, display of Photographs of Martyrs at prominent places to pay homage to them. The commemorative events/activities concluded today with an impressive cultural Programme at Community Hall Doda.
