ITI Jammu observes Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

The government Industrial Training Institute, Jammu, today observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas with inauguration of sports week in the institute.Principal Secretary, Skill Development Department, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon, was the chief guest on the occasion, formally inaugurated the sports week by launching Volleyball match.

Regional Director, RDSDE JK, S Santhimanalan and Director Skill Development Department, Sudershan Kumar were also present on the occasion.Dr. Samoon interacted with the playing teams and appreciated their unique talent.

He presented mementos to the winning and runner up teams and distributed certificates of participation among the teams.Dr Samoon also launched plantation drive at ITI Jammu.On the occasion, Dr Samoon administered the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) pledge to the trainees and staff of the ITI Jammu and Women ITI Jammu.

Director, Skill Development Department appreciated the efforts of staff of ITI Jammu for organizing the event.Vote of thanks was presented by Engineer Rajendra Kumar, Principal ITI Jammu.
