DEO Jammu Anvy Lavasa reviews progress under Special Summary Revision

Deputy Commissioner, Anvy Lavasa, who is also District Election Officer, today reviewed the progress made under Special Summary Revision including the camps being held at all the polling stations in the district.

The DEO asked the BLOs to carefully fill all the details especially during correction and deletion of requisite information and upload it at the earliest.The DEO said that these special camps have been organised across the District for inclusion of new voters/Correction/Deletion of names etc.

She also appealed to the public in general and new voters in particular to avail this opportunity. She said that youth should come forward in large numbers to get registered as new voters so they can cast their right to vote.

She also instructed the BLOs to work with utmost dedication and caution in registering new voters, correction and deletion in order to avoid any kind of inconvenience to the people in future.These special camps have been organised in all 11 constituencies at 1456 polling stations of Jammu district.

Later, the Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the saturation  of deliverables during Jan Abhiyan.The Deputy Commissioner instructed the concerned departments to furnish information regarding targets and progress being made under deliverables on a daily basis.

CPO Yoginder Katoch, ACR Piyush Dhotra besides district officers from concerned departments were present in their respective meetings.
