District Development Council Chairperson, Udhampur, Lal Chand, today laid foundation stone of Double Span motorable Bridge at Neeli Nallah in presence of Chairperson Block Development Council, Balwan Singh, Ex-MLA, Pawan Kumar Gupta, District Development Councilor Udhampur-I Puran Chand and District Development Councilor Tikri Ashu Sharma.

The 30 metre Double Span Motorable Bridge will be constructed at a cost of Rs.2.80 Crores under Safety Audit of Bridges by the PWD Department.After laying of foundation stone, the Chairperson informed the public that road connectivity is the pre requisite for the overall development and it is the first priority of the government. 

He added that the said Bridge will provide better commutation facilities to the surrounding 20  Panchayats.It is Pertinent to mention here that the existing bridge has been declared unsafe by the PWD Department.

BDC Chairperson, DDC Councilors and EX-MLA Udhampur also addressed the gathering of people and congratulated the public of Jib Thathi area for unprecedented development. People of the area thanked to DDC Chairperson for his continuous efforts for the development of the area.

Among others, Officers of PWD department, PRI Members of Panchayat Halqa Jib, Kambal Danga, Sundarni, Seen Brahmana, Seen Thakran, Chak Rakwalan, Tikri, Barolla, Neeli Nallah and concerned contractor etc were also present on the occasion.
