Regional Office of National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL), a fully owned Public Sector Undertaking of Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways (MoRT&H) Government of India, has been conducting a series of activities for past several days under the aegis of Swachhta Pakhwada.
In addition to infrastructure development, the NHIDCL has been taking part in the various Central Schemes and Initiatives. In line with this, the organisation has associated itself with the national mission of Swachhta Abhiyan Mission 2.0 launched by the Prime Minister of India.
The NHIDCL RO Jammu under the leadership of its Executive Director (Projects), Colonel Sandeep Sudherais carried out a series of activities under the Swachhta Abhiyan Mission 2.0. The activities started on October 2, 2022 will continue till October 31.
Efforts are also being made to connect common masses of surrounding areas in its area of responsibility right up to Sinthanptop along NH 244 and upto Akhnoor on NH 144A.It is pertinent to mention here that the cooperation and support provided by Jammu Municipal Corporation and local citizens has been overwhelming.
