District Development Council Chairman Doda, Dhananter Singh Kotwal, today handed over 23 Motorised tricycles among Identified Specially Abled persons here at Dak Bungalow Doda.The Chairman handed over the keys and documents to the beneficiaries along with the motorised tricycles.

District Social Welfare Office Doda organised this programme for distribution of motorised tricycles among specially-abled beneficiaries under the scheme of J&K Rehabilitation Council. Chairman was accompanied by Vice Chairperson DDC, Sangeeta Rani Bhagat and District Social Welfare Officers Doda Tariq Qazi and other concerned officials of the Social Welfare department.

While speaking on the occasion, the Chairman said that the Motorised tricycles shall empower the beneficiaries in the field of livelihood earnings. He also urged the unemployed beneficiaries to avail any of the self employment schemes for establishing their self employment business units and start the career of their choice.
