The Dussehra Festival was organised by the Dussehra Committee Kharar at the religious place of Maharaja Ajj Sarovar. On the occasion of Dussehra, the chief guest, Shri Lalit Jain (IAS), inaugurated the festival by cutting the welcome ribbon. After that, the tableaux, which were taken out by the committee, reached the ground.

IPS officer Charanjit Singh, SDM Rajpura Dr. Sanjeev Sharma, Mr. Karan Gautam, (Ministry of Home Affairs), Kharar Nagar Consul President Mrs. Jaspreet Kaur Longia, all the members of the city council, officials of various political and social organisations, journalists, the Dussehra Committee, and a huge number of residents of the place were present, including its president, Kamal Kishore Sharma, and spokesperson Rajesh Kaushik.

Tempting tableaux were organised on this occasion, in which the first tableau depicting the martyrdom of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev, related to patriotism, including the tableau related to Lord Shri Ganesh ji, Lord Shri Ram, related to Mahabharata, was shown, which the people liked a lot. 

In his speech, chief guest Lalit Jain extended warm wishes to the residents of Kharar Nagar on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra and said that we should take inspiration from Lord Ram in our lives.The enormous statues situated on the ground were presented to the King of Lanka, Ravana, Kumbhkaran, and Meghnath, who had been fired by the Chief Honorary Shri Lalit Jain (IAS). 

At that time, Committee President Kamal Kishore Sharma said that 6 days ago there was standing water on the ground, but on the occasion of Dussehra, the festival is being celebrated on this earth with the help of the Maharaja Ajj Sarovar Development Council and Municipal Council Kharar. He showed his gratitude to all the residents of the city for participating in the Dussehra occasion.
