To create awareness among students about importance of Vote and Voter cards, an awareness programme under Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme was organized here in Government Girls Higher Secondary School, by the District Election Office, Reasi .
The event was organised in Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Reasi, on Ist October, 2022, in which staff and students of the school participated.The participants were impressed upon to associate themselves with the ongoing process of Special Summary revision of the draft Electoral rolls and also associate the other eligible persons for registering as Voters.
Detailed information related to Special Summary revision was also given in the programme.The programme was presided over by Rakesh Kumar, Deputy District Election Officer, Reasi and was attended by the staff of the School and staff from the District Election Office, Reasi.
Besides, programmes were also organized by the Electoral Literacy Clubs of the schools in which information about Special Summary revision of the draft Electoral rolls was given to the students.Similarly, an awareness programme under SVEEP was organized in village Sungal (Kenka), District Reasi, in which the locals of the village were made aware about the Special Summary revision of the draft Electoral rolls.
