Deputy Commissioner Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan the other day interacted with Panchayat members of different blocks on Google meet, listened to their local issues and sought their cooperation in smooth implementation of rural Development schemes, Swatchta Compaign, Nasha Mukht Bharat and other individual and community welfare schemes.
The DDC held elaborate discussions with members of PRIs of all the Blocks. Sarpanches and Panchs presented their demands and issues in their respective areas to which he gave a patient hearing and ensured timely response/ redressal by the concerned district heads.
Deputy Commissioner also urged PRIs to play their active role in maintaining peace and communal Harmony in the district.DC asked them to involve themselves proactively in achieving target of construction of soakage pits and compost pits under MGNREGA by 2nd of October so that the rest of plan is started in panchayats which achieved targets.
DDC was accompanied by SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom, ACD Doda Phulail Singh, ACP Doda Ashfaq Khanji, SDM Assar, SDM Gandoh, CMO Doda, DIO Doda and BDO Kastigarh.
