Secretary, Health and Medical Education (H&ME) Department, Bhupinder Kumar today visited Doda and took onspot assessment of ongoing works at Government Medical College and Associated Hospital (GMC&AH) here.
During the visit to GMC & AH, the Secretary directed the executing agency to speed up the progress of ongoing works and ensure the completion of this prestigious project on time.The Secretary on the occasion also interacted with the HoDs and doctors of GMC&AH Doda and gave patient hearing to their issues regarding shortage of staff like specialist doctors.
He assured them that their genuine demands will be fulfilled in a time bound manner.Bhupinder also interacted with the patients admitted in the hospital and took stock of the medical facilities being provided to the patients here.
The Secretary asked the doctors to provide best medical care to the patients round the clock, besides he directed them to maintain cleanliness in and around the premises of the health institution.Among others, DDC Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan; Principal GMC Doda, Dr Noor Ali; SSP Doda, Abdul Qayoom; CMO Doda, Dr M Y Mir; MS GMC Doda, Dr Yudhvir Singh; Executive Engineer, R&B Doda besides other officers of Health Department accompanied the Secretary during the visit.
