In pursuance to the directions of Chief Electoral Officer J&K, a training programme regarding Special Summary Revision of Rolls 2022 of all Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and Supervisors was today held at Town Hall, Handwara.
On the occasion, training was imparted to 255 BLOs of 5-Handwara and 6-Langate assembly constituencies during which components of special summary revision schedule for new form 6, 6B, 7, 8, GARUDS App, Aadhaar linkage with Electoral Rolls, 100 percent photo coverage in Electoral Rolls, marking of PWDs, uploading of AMF/ EMF were discussed.
Meanwhile, Nazir Ahmad Mir, ADC Handwara who is Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) Handwara, stressed upon the field staff to ensure cent per cent enrollment of electors and purification of Electoral Roll date. Tehsildar and other concerned were also present in the training.
