The three days training programme of SHG members of NRLM as Village resource Persons VRPs on Social Audit concluded today.The training was organised by Directorate of Social Audit and Department of Rural development and Panchayati Raj Kulgam.

As many as 14 nominees participated in this training which is aimed at creating the pool of resources at the Gram Panchayat Level for enhancing the transparency and accountability in the centrally sponsored schemes like MGNREGA, PMAY-G and SBM-G etc.Training kits among the VRPs were also distributed on the occasion.

Assistant Commissioner Development Kulgam, Mohammad Imran Khan who was also present in the programme highlighted the role and importance of VRPs for Social Audit.Sareer Ahmad and Javaid Ahmad, District Resource persons/trainers presented various contents and aspects of the social audit during the programme.
