Raman Bahl on Tuesday took charge as the Chairman of Punjab Health System Corporation today in the presence of Information & Public Relations Minister Mr. Aman Arora, Health Minister Mr. Chetan Singh Jaura Majra, Local Govt. Minister, Mr. Inderbir Singh Nijjer and Food Supplies & Forest Minister Mr. Lal Chand Kataruchak.

After assuming the charge, Mr. Bahl thanked the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the entire central and Punjab leadership of the Aam Aadmi Party. He said that he would carry out this responsibility with utmost dedication and commitment.

Mr. Bahl said that the Punjab government was already working in the direction of providing better healthcare services to the people and further efforts would be made to ensure that the benefits of these services could reach at grassroots level. He said that the Punjab government had already started 100 Aam Aadmi clinics. He said that he would work to provide better health services to the people of the state.

Pertinently, on last Wednesday, the Punjab Government issued a list regarding the appointment of 14 leaders as chairman for various boards and corporations. According to this list, Mr. Raman Bahl was appointed as the Chairman of Punjab Health System Corporation in the Department of Health and Family Welfare.

Notably, Mr. Raman Bahl and his family have been active in Punjab politics for many decades. His father Mr. Khushal Bahl had served as Education Minister of Punjab. Mr. Raman Bahl had served as Chairman of Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board. It may be mentioned that Mr. Bahl is serving as the constituency in-charge of district Gurdaspur. He also contested the MLA election from Gurdaspur constituency as an AAP candidate.

On this occasion, MLA Dharamkot Mr. Devinderjeet Singh Laddi Dhose, MD PHSC Mrs. Neelima, Chairman Punsup Mr. Balbir Singh Pannu, Chairman PSEB Dr. Yograj, Chairman Punjab Tourism Development Corporation Smt. Vibhuti Sharma, Halka incharge Dinanagar Mr. Shamsher Singh, Mr. Amit Manto, Sujanpur, Mr. Gurdeep Singh Randhawa, Lok Sabha incharge AAP Mr. Rajiv Sharma , Distt. Incharge AAP Mr. Jagroop Singh Shekhwan, President PHSC Employees Welfare Association Mr. Manjot Singh and a large number of their supporters, relatives, family members and dignitaries were present.
