To sensitise people about the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, the District Administration Kishtwar, in collaboration with School Education Department and District Youth Services & Sports Department, today took out a “Prabhat Pheri” and road show of school students here in the Kishtwar Town.
Deputy Commissioner (DC), Ashok Sharma and SSP Shafqat Hussain Bhat flagged off the Prabhat Pheri here from Kokila Chowk, Kuleed Chowk near 100 feet High Mast National Flag. ADDC, Shama Lal; Ad SP, Rajinder Singh; ACD, Atul Dutt Sharma; DPO,Sunil Bhutyal; CEO, Sudershan Kumar Sharma; DYSSO Kharati Lal Sharma besides other Civil and Police Officers, teaching staff also attended the event.
Over 200 students drawn from different schools took part in the programme and motivated the public to hoist the national flag on their houses.The gusto and effervescence of the children amid playing of patriotic songs was the perfect foil for culminating the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' fervour.
During the Prabhat pheries the participants raised slogans like “Bharat Mata ki jai”, “Vande Mataram”, “Har ghar tiranga, har man tiranga”, “Vijayee viswa tiranga pyara-jhanda uncha rahe hamaara” and reached Main Bus stand Kishtwar via Dak banglow,Shaheedi Mazar,Police station Kishtwar then returned back to Kokila Chowk, Kuleed Kishtwar.
The DC appreciated all the departments for playing their role effectively in making the campaign a success under ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’.
