The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Shopian, Manzoor Hussain today chaired Block Diwas at Kapran, here.On the occasion, the ADDC met scores of deputations of locals, social activists and PRIs and listened to them patiently.During the proceedings, people highlighted various issues, grievances and demands of public importance pertaining to their respective areas.
During interaction with the people, the ADDC took stock of different ongoing developmental works and emphasised upon officers present for timely completion of developmental projects.He directed concerned officers to ensure timely redressal of all the highlighted issues of public importance as per norms within the fixed timeline.
He also assured the audience that all their genuine demands and requirements shall be taken up for appropriate action as expeditiously as possible and within norms.District Officers, including JDP, Khursheed Ahmad Khatana; officers and officials of line departments were present at the Block Diwas.
