Padama Shri Padama Sachdev, Government PG College for Women Gandhi Nagar has bagged numerous prizes in a set of activities hosted by the College to commemorate the. 

The competition was organized by G. G. M Science College in collaboration with J&K AIDS control society. The activities included debate competition, reel making and poster competition. 

The topic of the competition was "Intergenerational Solidarity: Creating World For All Ages". Two students in each category participated in the event. In Debate competition,  Pooja Chargotra of sem VI bagged First prize and  Haspreet Kour of SEM II were rewarded with 2nd prize. 

In reel making competition  Riya Andotra of sem IV got 2nd prize.  Sonam Manhas of sem VI bagged 3rd prize in a poster making competition. Dr. Revika Arora, Nodal officer, Red Ribbon Club appreciated efforts of the students and encouraged them to participate in such activities ahead.

Prof. Sujata Salathia, Head, Department of Economics motivated the young students to serve for society and promote Intergenerational Solidarity.

Prof. Minu Mahajan, Principal of the college, advised the students to promote solidarity across generations, which is a key for sustainable development. Prof. Abhinav, Prof. Manmeet Kour & Prof Kusum also admired the zeal and enthusiasm of the students.
