Mega Block Diwas held at 3 blocks of Kulgam

People apprise officers about their issues & grievances for early redressal

The District Administration Kulgam today organized Mega Block Diwas in 3 blocks of the district to take appraisal of the public issues, grievances and demands.During the programme, functions were held at Kund, Kulgam and D.H Pora blocks of the district witnessing overwhelming response of people.At the outset of the programme, Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Mohammad Imran Khan briefed the participants about the action taken on grievances and issues which were raised in previous block Diwas. 

Officers and officials from line departments listened to issues, grievances and demands of the public for timely redressal at all the three venues. Meanwhile, to take first hand appraisal of public grievances and demands, Additional Development Commissioner (ADC) Kulgam, Showkat Ahmad Rather  presided over a grievance redressal camp at Frisal and listened to grievances and issues of people. 

DDC member from Frisal, PRI members officers from District administration were also present during this block Diwas. The visiting delegations and PRIs demanded development of Playfield at Chingam, development of the left out portion of road from Chingam to Shirpora and upgradation of PHC Frisal besides several other demands. 

Officers on the spot responded to the queries and demands of people pertaining to their departments. The ADC after giving patient hearing to the public, addressed some of the immediate nature of grievances on spot.Meanwhile grievances redressal camps were also held at Block Kund and D.H.Pora where officers remained available to listen and redress the issues and grievances of people.
