Deputy Commissioner Avny Lavasa today conducted an extensive tour of the old city area including Indira Chowk, Raghunath Bazar, City Chowk, Shallamar, Aggarwal Sabha etc.The Deputy Commissioner inspected the special arrangements made in view of monsoon season at different locations for the stay of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra pilgrims.
The arrangements regarding security, langar, water, power, registration and logging were reviewed in detail by the DC.During the tour, the Deputy Commissioner also interacted with the yatris and enquired about the facilities being provided by the administration.
She directed the concerned officials and nodal officers to ensure all the basic facilities to the pilgrims save them from any kind of inconvenience.The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by ADC L&O Sherpa Minga; ADC ADM Satish Sharma, Tehsildar and other senior officers deputed on Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2022.
