Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Avni Lavasa today chaired a meeting with senior officers to review the issues and management regarding smooth conduct of Sri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2022, here at DC office.Threadbare discussions were held on the registration and token process besides other arrangements being put in place for smooth conduct of Shri Amarnath Yatra.

The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the lodging and other facilities at Yatri Niwas and functioning of Langers/ Community mess for pilgrims so they may not face any problem in this regard.The concerned authorities briefed the Deputy Commissioner   about steps taken for smooth arrangements of registration and token process for Yatris and ensured that all arrangements in this regard would be completed in a time bound manner.

The Deputy Commissioner stressed upon the officers to streamline and speed up the ongoing process for providing adequate facilities to the pilgrims so that they can complete their pilgrimage without any difficulties.

ACR, Jammu, Vijay Kumar; SDMs, Khour, Anil Thakur; Akhnoor, Akhil Sadhotra; Jammu, North, Dr Udham Dass; Jammu, South, Abhishek Abrol; R S Pura, Ram Lal Sharma; AC Nazool, Jasmeet Singh and Social Welfare Officer Jammu, Ajay Salaan were also present on the occasion.
