Leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) are confident that they will register a thumping victory in the Sangrur by-election for a third consecutive term.AAP candidate Gurmail Singh said that after witnessing the trend of polling and enthusiasm of AAP workers on Thursday evening, it is evident that the victory of AAP is unequivocally certain in this election.

On June 26, the Election Commission will formally announce the victory of the AAP.In a statement issued from the party headquarters here, Gurmail Singh said that the people of Sangrur voted for AAP after considering the pro-people work and initiatives taken by the AAP government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in the past three months.

“Everywhere, we went during the election campaign, people told us that they were completely satisfied with our governance. People of Punjab now have a hope from AAP that it will annihilate the mafia and malpractices from the state to make it a ‘Rangla Punjab’ again,” said Gurmail Singh in the statement.

He said that like the assembly elections, the AAP will win this election again and the opposition parties including Congress, the Akali Dal and the BJP are nowhere in the picture in this poll. AAP will register a comfortable win.
